The Part-Time Recruiter provides full-cycle recruitment at the World Bearquarters for exempt and non-exempt positions focusing on our core values. This individual is exceptional at sourcing and screening candidates, organization and prioritization, has a customer centric mindset and works with a sense of urgency. They can work across the organization at all levels and in various areas. They are a passionate self-starter who is able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment to get the job done. This individual should be local to the St. Louis metropolitan area and able to work in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage UKG Pro; post open positions accurately and timely
  • Monitor resumes received, including sorting, routing and screening candidates for all positions within Bearquarters
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Source candidates from job boards, databases and schools
  • Manage partnerships with external vendors for company's recruiting needs
  • Explore new avenues to promote employment brand; evolve recruiting process when needed
  • Attend company job fairs and off-site job fairs
  • Support all Bearquarter hiring needs
  • Work closely with hiring managers to successfully hire candidates to Build-A-Bear
  • Execute recruitment strategies for multiple openings, from the initial research and planning phase, to sourcing and candidate identification, assessments, offer, close and pre-boarding
  • Consult with hiring managers on key position requirements and responsibilities
  • Edit job postings to include desired skills and experience
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience with a proven, successful track record in a customer-centric business; specialty retail preferred; 6-7 years preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Timely and accurate in communication
  • Customer focused
  • Self-assured and confident
  • Ability to generate sound first impressions
