The Human Resources Assistant partners with the Human Resources, Payroll, Store, Bearquarters and Bearhouse teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance and reporting needs are met through UKG Pro, our Human Capital Management system. This position is also responsible for customer service and troubleshooting support for all first-level UKG Pro HR Help questions.


  • Work closely with confidential data within UKG Pro
  • HCM Service and Support - respond and solve or respond and escalate UKG Pro HR Help questions
  • Review and process UKG Pro actions. Identify issues and guide associates and supervisors on processing errors to ensure compliance and data accuracy
  • Conduct internal audits, proactive compliance audits and complete processing for E-Verify, Social Security Administration Audits, Form I-9 Audits, etc.
  • Serve as the liaison to Equifax regarding unemployment claims, including submitting documentation and coordination of hearings
  • Perform regular maintenance and consistent upkeep of Recruiting & Onboarding modules
  • HR Data Compliance and Reporting in UKG Pro - Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Tasks, New Report Requests, etc. - run, review, act or make updates
  • Manage UKG Pro Document Storage process to ensure compliance
  • Responsible for Record of Employment (ROE) processing for Canadian associates through UKG Pro
  • Serve as backup to HR Talent Coordinator and Sr HCM Systems Administrator as needed
  • Assists HR team with other duties and tasks as needed


  • An Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with a minimum of 1 year of Human Resource administration experience and document compliance is required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced skills in Excel functions/formulas is required
  • Must be organized and be able to plan and multi-task; customer service oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently along with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with UKG Pro is a strong plus
